What is an Accessible Golf Facility?

An accessible facility is simply one that enables an individual with a disability to enjoy the game of golf at his or her own skill level. This could include any facility from a driving range, to an alternative course to a championship-caliber multiple-course facility. The Resource Center’s focus is in providing the most current information in these areas. Information regarding other facilities, such as miniature golf and off-site golf retail facilities should be found in other locations.
In this section of the Web site you will find information pertaining to making golf facilities more accessible, including ADA guidelines, helpful information guides as to how to make your facility more accessible and the opportunity to enter your facility into our database of accessible sites.

If there is an issue that is important to you, and you don’t find what you need to know about it on this site, please contact us. While the Resource Center wants to provide all information that is requested by facility operators, it does not provide legal advice or counsel.
