The Medical Community Can Play a Vital Role

A unique aspect of golf for individuals with disabilities is that expertise from the medical community is equally important as that coming from golf instructors. It is important for an individual with a disability to learn the game, but only if it is a safe and good recreational opportunity for them. It is important they participate positively, not potentially aggravate their condition. Thus, the Resource Center encourages anyone who is a member of the medical community who has some knowledge of the game of golf, or simply wants to help another person improve his or her game, to enter themselves into the Medical Community database.

To assist members of the medical community to learn more about individuals with disabilities playing golf; the Resource Center is also seeking and collecting medical-related data, experience, informational resources and studies. Please click here to view this information, or to share your experiences through posting such studies or information.
